The class tuition is FREE; however, a required range fee of $75 applies.
The live-fire range portion is mandatory to successfully meet Illinois Concealed Carry requirements.

✔️ All range equipment is provided by the instructor, including:
eye protection, ear protection, targets, ammunition, and firearm.

• 16-Hour Concealed Carry Course

• 2 Days: Saturday & Sunday

• Class Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

⚠️ Please note: When registering for a Saturday class, Sunday is automatically included as the second day.
The second day may run longer depending on class size and range logistics.
If you have time-sensitive commitments, we strongly recommend that you do NOT register for this class.

Course Overview

In the Creative Concealed Carry Basic Firearms Training Course for your Illinois Concealed Carry License, the primary focus is firearms safety, responsible ownership, and legal self-defense.

This course covers:

• Firearms safety fundamentals

• Proper shooting techniques

• Real-world defensive scenarios

• Defensive pistol use and mindset

Students will also gain a comprehensive understanding of Illinois concealed carry laws and self-defense statutes.

Training Includes:

• Physical & verbal de-escalation

• Physical self-defense principles

• Use of less-lethal options

• Understanding when deadly force is legally justified

• Firearm & gun range safety

• Drawing from the holster

• Aiming & sight alignment

• Proper trigger control

• Stance & grip

• Loading, reloading & clearing malfunctions

• Police interactions

• Home defense considerations

• And more

📜 Certification

Upon successful completion, students will receive a State-approved Illinois Concealed Carry Certificate, valid for submission with your CCL application.
