From booking to license

  • Step 1: Book online

    Pick your location and date. Can’t make it? Transfer your seat to someone you know.

  • Step 2: Bring your ID

    Bring a state-issued ID. No FOID card needed for class. Lunch is optional.

  • Step 3: Qualify at the range

    Range is completed during class. Plan your own transportation.

  • Step 4: Apply for your CCL

    We email you exactly where and how to apply after class.

Can I pay in person instead of making an online payment?

Yes, however, the fee will be double.

Do I need a F.O.I.D. card to take the class?

A FOID card is not needed to take the class.

What do I need for class?

Please bring your ID (state-issued) on the day of class. You can bring a lunch if you prefer.

What happens if I cannot attend class?

Unfortunately, you will have to pay for another date available through the website. If you cannot make it, you can transfer your seat to someone you may know.

How will I get to the range? Can I go to the range on my own time?

You will need to provide your own transportation for range. Range can only be completed during class to be considered completed.

  • Illinois Concealed Carry Class

    Class is required in order to obtain the

    Illinois Concealed Carry license(CCL).

  • 3hr Renewal Class

    Every 5 years you are required to

    renew your concealed carry license.
